Please read these terms carefully before booking a tour with Rainforest Tambopata Wild.

1. About These Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of this website and the tours and services offered by Rainforest Tambopata Wild, based in Puerto Maldonado, Madre de Dios, Peru. By requesting a quote or booking a tour, you accept these terms in full.

2. Bookings and Reservations

Bookings can be made online (where enabled for a specific tour) or through a quote request handled directly with our team. A booking is only confirmed once you receive written confirmation from Rainforest Tambopata Wild, whether by email or through our online payment system.

3. Payment Policy

For tours with online booking enabled, payment is processed securely at the time of booking. For quote-based bookings, payment terms (deposit, balance, and due dates) will be communicated directly by our team before the trip.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Cancellations made well in advance of the tour date are eligible for a full or partial refund, as communicated at the time of booking.
  • Cancellations made close to the tour date may not be eligible for a refund, due to costs already committed to lodges, transport, and guides.
  • Rainforest Tambopata Wild reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a tour due to weather, safety conditions, or circumstances beyond our control, in which case an alternative date or a full refund will be offered.

5. Traveler Responsibilities

Travelers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate personal information at the time of booking
  • Being in adequate physical condition for the selected tour
  • Following the instructions of our guides at all times, for their own safety and that of the group
  • Arranging their own travel insurance, which we strongly recommend

6. Liability

Rainforest Tambopata Wild takes reasonable care to ensure the safety of all tours, including trained guides and appropriate safety equipment. However, jungle activities carry inherent risks, and Rainforest Tambopata Wild is not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

7. Changes to Tours

Itineraries are subject to change without prior notice due to weather, river levels, wildlife behavior, or other factors affecting safety or feasibility. We will always aim to offer an equivalent experience when changes are necessary.
