Mystical Jungle Adventure

DAY 1:

TRANSFER AND WELCOME
Upon arrival at the airport, guests will be transferred to our main headquarters, where they can reorganize their luggage and store any unnecessary belongings. From there, we head to the port for an exciting boat trip along the Tambopata River. During the journey, we’ll enjoy an Amazonian box lunch while observing the abundant wildlife along the riverbanks: capybaras, turtles, caimans, macaws, and other fascinating species will accompany us on this adventure.

Upon arriving at the lodge, our resident manager will welcome guests and provide essential information for a comfortable stay. Before the nighttime activity, there will be time for an optional introductory walk.

NIGHT WALK
At night, we’ll explore the forest with headlamps, where the jungle comes alive in a magical way. We’ll immerse ourselves in a world of nocturnal creatures like insects, frogs, snakes, tarantulas, and, with some luck, night monkeys or tapirs. The deep darkness is complemented by the starry sky and jungle sounds, making this an unforgettable experience.

DAY 2:

LAKE AND HIGH-ALTITUDE EXPLORATION

Early Breakfast
To make the most of our lake experience, we’ll set out by boat early in the morning. This ecosystem is essential for numerous species and provides the best chance to spot endangered giant river otters. As we navigate, we’ll also observe black caimans, hoatzins, and waterbirds, surrounded by lush vegetation.

OBSERVATION TOWER
In the afternoon, we’ll climb a 35-meter tower designed for scientific research. From this height, we’ll enjoy panoramic views of the Amazon, spotting canopy birds, macaws, eagles, and monkeys. This visit also offers the chance to learn about conservation efforts in the region.

CAIMAN SEARCH
Before ending the day, our naturalist guide will introduce us to the caiman species inhabiting the area. We’ll then board a boat for a nighttime expedition to spot caimans in their natural habitat.

DAY 3:

PARROTS, RESERVE, AND LOCAL CULTURE

CLAY LICK
We’ll start the day with a short boat trip to a nearby parrot clay lick. This unique spectacle features various parrot and parakeet species gathering to feed on the mineral-rich clay. Their vibrant colors and melodic calls make this an unforgettable experience.

BREAKFAST AND PRIMARY FOREST WALK
After breakfast, we’ll explore the Tambopata National Reserve. Surrounded by primary forest with majestic trees like ironwood, cedar, and Brazil nut, we’ll discover the complexity and diversity of this ecosystem. A perfect opportunity for a silent walk to appreciate the jungle’s magic.

LUNCH AND VISIT TO A LOCAL FARM

After a rest, we’ll visit a local farm to learn about the life of farmers in the region. They cultivate bananas, pineapple, papaya, and more using traditional methods. This visit also supports local communities, contributing to the region’s economic development.

DAY 4:

BREAKFAST AND FAREWELL
We’ll conclude our adventure with a final breakfast at the lodge before our transfer back. Guests will leave with unforgettable memories of their journey to the heart of the Amazon.
